Hey all,
I am so excited! I qualified last week for a radio contest for a trip for two to Mazatlan. They are drawing at around 8 AM my time and there are 25 names in the draw.
I would not be able to go away this year other wise and really wanted to as I am turning 30. Please keep your fingers crossed for me!

I was a little bummed though, when I told my hubby he said, “As long as it’s not over my hockey playoffs.”
I said, “If you can’t go, I am sure I can find someone to take the trip with me.”

Nope.
Rather than being woken up by a phone call telling me I won a trip for two to Mazatlan, I woke up to my three year old who had diarrhea-
“Mommy, I pooped in my pajamas.”
Ahh well.
Bummer.
I’d go into that annoying “when life gives you lemons…” shtick, but considering what life gave you this morning, let’s not go there.
I guess a preschooler with diarrhea was the runner-up prize.
Well then, be glad you didn’t get third prize.

I just found out my name stays in for the rest of the contest, so I still have a few more trips to try for.
