Wish me luck.

Aproximately 2 minutes ago I saw the perfect job. I’m going to go apply for it now. This will be in addition to my current job as bartender, and quite the departure from my old job as tech-support.

I’m sorry, this is just too cool. Wish me luck

Here’s the job

"American Fencers Supply, one of North America’s oldest and
largest makers of sport and theatrical swords and daggers,
has a full-time position available.

The job covers a wide range of duties: building sport
weapons, filling orders, customer service, phone orders,
shipping/receiving, and a metric ton of product knowledge.

The job requires use of many hand and power tools, so expect
to get your hands dirty. Knowledge of the sport of fencing
is a plus, but we will train in all aspects of the job.

Job starts at $10/hour. Medical, dental, paid vacation
available after completing 90-day training period."

good luck!

Luck, Dude.

You know I always wish you luck, sweetie. Go forth and make swords and daggers and shit!

Hey, Scratch, that sounds like something you should definitely take a stab at!

Good luck! Would you get an employee discount? Can the rest of us use it? What if we asked nicely?

G’luck oldie!

hey - if you get the job, think you could get me a sharpened rapier? they don’t seem to sell em around here…

Scratch, that is so beautiful… I could cry…

You will help us out with a discount, right?

Well it sure sounds better than making rope… sounds like it might cut into your social life.

Good luck Oldscratch!

Le Sang - if OS doesn’t get the job I have an interesting catalogue - they have a web site at http://www.museumreplicas.com, but they don’t sharpen rapiers (too thick compared to width) but do sharpen other swords… maybe a nice claymore?

Well, thanks, I’ve got an interview tommoroww at 3. BY coincidence, it’s less than half a block from my current job. I’ve been wanting to do something that gets my hands dirty again. It’ll just kick ass.

What do you do? "I tend bar and make sowrds and daggers.

Good luck!! And have fun, but I’m sure you will. Don’t have any mishaps, or Jack Dean Tyler might come after you…

Best a luck, gov, & keep us posted. I’m currently writing a musical comedy, but if I had a line on swords, this could be the first musical comedy that ends like Hamlet.
