Witcher Season 2 (see OP for spoiler policy)

I finished watching Season 3. It was not bad; the monster effects and fights were very good but I was less interested in the more maudlin aspects of the story.

Is there a good recap of season two somewhere? We have started season 3, but are having trouble keeping track.

I ended up re-watching the last ~4 episodes of Season 2 before watching Season 3.

I finished watching Season 4.

On the plus side, Laurence Fishburne is a welcome addition and the plot was more linear than in previous seasons (I rewatched the last episode of Season 3 and I was still pretty hazy on what happened). I also thought the actress who played Ciri improved, or maybe she just got some better material to work on.

On the minus side, Liam Hemsworth isn’t as good as Henry Cavill. One problem is that I think he has “resting smiley face”; even his most neutral expression seems pretty chipper (which isn’t what I usually expect out of Geralt).
