How long would it take someone to start exhibiting withdrawal symptoms from tranquilizers and what would the symptoms be?
They could start as early as a few hours after the last pill. Nervousness, shaky hands, nausea, cold sweats, sleeplessness, itching, reduced appetite, and fever could all occur and depending on how long they were taken and how severe the withdrawal is, panic attacks, hallucinations, seizures are also possible.
Depends on the trank, and how long it was taken, and at what dosage.

Some withdrawl symptoms are physical, and require ‘real fast’ medical attention.
The other more psychologically related ones, such as ‘loss of appetite’, can wait.
Anexiety is rarely life threatening, but sure as hell feels that way.
For a lot of common tranks, that’s the first sign that the dosage has worn off, and if your used to getting it at regular intervals, 30 minutes after the last dose is plenty of time to notice the lack of effect.
This is pretty much mental withdrawl, and isnt really harmfull, even if it is uncomfortable as hell.
But there are some tranks, that once you’ve taken them for several weeks, ie. two or more, also have physical withdrawl symptoms.
If you are habituated at that level, both mental and physical, you have (may need) to have the dosage tapered off, and have it monitored also.
Since you posted a rather vague question, sorry if my answer sounds a little rude, or directed at you personally.
I use the generic you, which means me also.
Not getting an expected dose of a benzodiazipine, on schedule, is rarely life threatening,
Not getting a dose of a heavier classification, might be.
It’s your call, but mental withdrawl can be handled, physical withdrawl requires medical attention.
The first symptom of withdrawl is always to want more, of whatever is now missing. And craved.
The second is to suffer at its loss.
Both are temporary, and perfectly survivable.
