I pass one Starbucks, one Subway (really close to another, but hey, you missed me.) One McDonalds, and three 7-11’s
On the alternate route, No Starbucks, No Subway, Two McDonalds, and Three 7-11’s. The alternate route is longer, but faster, since it avoids the center of town.
The really long route has no Starbucks, one Subway, one McDonalds, and two 7-11s. Lots fewer lights on that one.
There are dozens of seven elevens two blocks off each of my routes. I won’t even turn left to go to seven eleven!
4 miles west of Boise:
[ul]
[li]Starbucks- 4[/li][li]McDonald’s- 1 (5 if allowing for 10 miles)[/li][li]7-11- 0 (they’re a dying breed in Boise, only 3 remaining locations I know of right off the top of my head)[/li][li]Subway- 5[/li][/ul]
If I lived within Boise these counts would be higher.
Starbucks: I do not know where a single Starbucks is. Are there any in South Carolina?
McDonald’s: There is a McDonald’s 11 miles away across form work.
Subway: There is a Subway two blocks from McDonalds
7-Eleven: See my reply for Starbucks.
Within 5 miles there is a little country store where they will cut you a slab of cheese and a slab of bologna on request and if you really want the breakfast of champions, they will cut you a slab of liver pudding (puddin, thank you) or a piece of souse meat. :dubious:
Starbucks: 186 McDonalds: 98 7-11: 5 (I had no idea there were 7-11s in Manhattan! I don’t think I’ve ever seen one here. Back on Long Island they were all over.) Subway: 144. (How are you guys finding the list of Subways? Their website was of no help, I think I did it the right way through Yahoo but it took a while.)
Man, how can they have so many? I mean, they are staying in business, I just don’t understand it.
Within 5.0 miles, I’ve got none of them. When you get into Greensboro proper, for the entire city, there are less than ten - most often around 5 - for each category.
McDonalds - As of May this year, 2
Subways - As of May this year, 2
(Guess when the new strip mall on the north end of town opened. )
Starbucks - 0
7-11s - 0
If you make it 15 miles, you can add 1 McDonalds and 1 Subway, 20 miles another McDonalds and Subway, and at about 35 miles, a large number of both. I haven’t seen a 7-11 in this part of the state at all, but I think they are in the larger cities in the state. There are Starbucks about 35 miles, don’t know how many for sure, but I have seen one.
