In this economy, the retail clerk and the PhD could be one and the same person.
Depressing ain’t it?
Thanks Tars
I’d be REAL interested in a cite for where I said this, rather then pointing out that the previous repost came from an embedded reporter and not a military one. I find is fascinating how people “quote” what they want to believe their oponents say rather than what their oponents actually say.
Something not quoted by Tars:
Oh, and Tamerlane, thanks for your usual comprehensive analysis. You’re right, I really shorted post WWII history reguarding colonies, I was feeling like I was giving a history lecture and wandering rather far afield from where I was going with the post.
Now this is interesting…
now foxnews is saying weapons grade plutonium
Lets just give it awhile first. If I hear one motherfucker say “smoking gun”, I’m going to put their head through a wall.
smoking gun
Godammit that’s it, I’m on the next train to Philly. I think I’ll pick up a cheesesteak before I smack you in the head.
Where’s a good place to eat?
it’s no King Gungan!
Not at Gino’s or Pat’s. They are tourist traps. Best bet is to pick a small local place and ask for extra cheese. Food carts aren’t bad either. Only place I know where I can eat till I’m stuffed for $3.
Pizza is good here too.
Very soon, now, someone is going to come along and declare in a very large font that this stuff was planted.
PLANT!!
Have you seen the size of plants grown in radiation? They’re huge!
THIS STUFF WAS PLANTED
You guys make this too easy
They will also mention Bush no less then 2 times, and possibly mention the election.
Sounds good Jde
Damn, I even previewed.
I just wanna add that since relieving the UN inspectors, I think our 100k+ inspectors are doing a fine job uncovering suspect stuff.
After the chemical weapons were all variously found to be pesticides, talcum powder, sand and what have you, I suspect the “Weapons grade plutonium” will soon be found to be something that is neither weapons grade nor plutonium.
Funny how the “Weapons grade plutonium” isn’t in any other news source.
Fact is, the war was allegedly waged to disarm Iraq of WMDs, and so far, not one WMD has been found to exist. I thought the US knew where all these things were? They sure implied that in Powell’s speech to the U.N. At this point I’m fervently hoping they do find SOMETHING.
We already quoted two news sources.
