Woke up one mornin'...

Guess everybody’s heard the joke about what happens if you play the blues backwards. You get your woman back, your dog back, your house back… But does anyone know if the immortal lines;

‘Woke up one mornin’ / ma woman was dead’

have ever appeared in an actual blues song? And is this an occupational hazard of being married to a blues singer?

Cheers
