We get the same sort of calls for some sort of “Internet Yellow Pages” directory listing. They call asking for confirmation of your company name, address, etc, and before you know it they’re slickly signing you up for a premium listing that costs $300. Best thing to do is hang up on these guys too.

Trying to do a job is one thing. Trying to get around security is quite another thing. Wording a letter to make it sound like someone connected with the building security actually endorses a product, when they haven’t, is fraud, in my book.
Word. The complaints, unless I’m not understanding this correctly, are 1) the lying, and 2) threatening to blitzkrieg the office with FedEx packages.
A rationale that’s equally compelling when applied to telemarketers, panhandlers, and bulk-email-spammers. Which is to say, not at all.
I don’t hate the people on the ground–chances are, if they’re in a job that shitty, it’s because they’re desperate. They get sympathy and pity.
It’s the people who set the policies that I loathe with every fiber of my being.
If you’ve got the head of SHADO pretending to be checking radiation shields, I’d say you were in very deep trouble.
