Links are to news stories from a federal investigation. They have a still shot of a woman’s face, who apparently co-starred in some child porn. She’s been indicted as a “Jane Doe.” My guess she’s a victim as well of some sort. But maybe not.

Anyway, the feds have sent this out in an effort to find the woman, who will presumably be able to lead them to the producers of this garbage. Link is safe for work, IMO

The gist I got from the articles is that she is suspected of being the producer of the porn as well as being in the videos, and I suspect a relative or parent of the child in the videos. It’s happened before.NSFW description of child sexual exploitation

Anyway, looking at that pic I have to say the age estimate doesn’t seem broad enough to me. I can see her being younger and older than those ages EASILY and tbh I think she looks younger than 23 (or has a lot of makeup on). Although obviously whoever has put out the age estimate has seen more of her, something I don’t really think I want to seek out in the circumstances.

Out of interest how would they know she lives in the US? If there’s EXIF details then they should have her location and should have pounced. Otherwise could be from anywhere surely?

It is a video in a format not specified, as for the location I’m guessing the woman or the child speaks english in the video in a US accent.

Why didn’t they specify the sex of the child being abused? It might help identify her.

I just thought about my question for a few seconds and realised the answer is probably something in the background, like, I dunno, an american plug socket with american magazines, or somethign like that.

Which makes me think - they should post the entire child porn pics with the child censored out, ideally with a rectangular box rather than super-minimum censorship so the child can never be identified in future by shape. That way there could be much more details for people to help with. I’m sure I saw a rerun of opera or something where they did that and it turned out abuse was happening at disneyland.

Every little bit of info helps and when you abuse a child you forfeit your right not to be plastered nude everywhere.

I asssume that this isn’t her breastfeeding the kid or taking a bath with them or something, right? Even with my deep cynicism of certain things I cannot imagine that that would be under investigation.

Why? I haven’t noticed child molesters being generally that much more unattractive than the random population. People of all income/education/attractiveness levels are probably equally likely to become pedophiles.
