I think you’re right.
Try trimming, (on level 1 or 2, if you use level 0 it’s as same as shaving) , but gently. Trust me, they get more comfortable. Think of it as less packaging, hence more movement space.

I can’t speak for all women, but I love to play with the balls. They are soft n silky and feel good in my hand.Likewise, I can’t speak for all men, but my spouse loves them to be played with.
