Brewer is potentially dangerous. She wants her insanity codified in law. She has a faint sense of truth . It is alien to her life but she may recall the definition.
Thomas is the power behind the thrones. She raises money and is involved in organizing and shaking down the rich for money. Women like her and Shiafley reach into the wealthy and powerful base that wants to keep out of the public.
