Three traffic policemen in Oklahoma have been accused of pulling over women and sexually assaulting them on the promise of not issuing them tickets. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Captain George Brown’s helpful advice on how not to get raped? Obey the traffic laws.
“Many times people want to know what to do, simply what do I do on a traffic stop? It’s an uncomfortable situation for everyone involved, for the officer who has to worry about officer safety and for the person, many times female, who are stopped. So, what we do, we suggest they first and foremost do your part and do what it takes to obey the traffic laws, not get stopped.”
So, women who drive are asking to be raped by cops? No, it should be, don’t get pulled over if you don’t want a ticket. Instead of blaming the victim, how about not hiring rapists to be cops instead?
It’s bs advice anyway. Many women get pulled over nationwide for “driving while pretty”. Most of the time it doesn’t result in sexual misconduct, but cops routinely do that just as an excuse to talk to attractive women.
There’s absolutely no tracking of any kind to discover how many people cops kill, and you guys want a cite for “driving while pretty”. Yeah, ok!
You can check out “matress Mary” Fallin, [del] our[/del] my past governor alleged dalliances with troopers assigned to protect her (search “The Lost Ogle” or you may not want to). So at least some of them seem to believe it’s one of the perks of the job.
Actually, a group of cops freely sexually assaulting women they pull over while their boss blames the victims is a pretty good indictment of the police system.
