women with "treasure trails"

What % of women would grow a “treasure trail” (line of hair from the pubes to the navel) if the hair was left to its own devices?

23.9%

Excellent. First post has the definative answer, and after only 4 minutes. I love the dope.

That’s what my calculations came out to as well.

Yeah! shoulda worded it better.

I have an insufficient sample size. I’ll go to the mall and report back.

now we just need a couple of pages to debate the mathematics used to derive that figure.

87% of statistics are rectally derived.

Generally speaking, if a woman has enough androgenic hormones to grow hair on her lip, she’s got enough androgenic hormones for a visible treasure trail. We ALL have hair there (unless we remove it), but it’s often fine like the hair on our backs, not dark like the hair on our legs.

PCOS is a fairly common (about 10% of women of reproductive age) condition of excess androgenic hormones which will often make a woman extra hairy, including that area. Genetics can play a big role, too, either in having more hair or darker, more visible hair. Chances are good that if you can easily see the hair on her arms from a social viewing distance, you could see her treasure trail.

So it’s somewhere north of 10% and less than 100%.

mhendo doesn’t beat around the bush, does he?

Your numbers are off - I think you didn’t count Laurie in Moline because she has that operation scar that inturrupts her trail.

Given your username, I’m surprised that you came up for air long enough to crunch the numbers.

Certainly not a GQ. MOved.

I don’t have hair on my abdomen, or on my back. But then, I’m like one of those hairless Chinese dogs- I have very little body hair.

10%? Is that what the kids are calling “that area” these days?

CMC fnord!

That old Frank Black song suddenly makes sense to me now.

This puts a whole different spin on Roy Rogers’ theme song.

I have very fine, light-colored hair. No hair on my upper lip, my eyebrows aren’t bushy, and I have to go without shaving my legs for about a week before you could easily see any hair growth. And yet I have a ‘treasure trail’.

Funny story: I once shaved it off as a surprise for my then-boyfriend. When I showed him, he cried out, “WHY?!”

“I thought you’d like it,” I said.

“It made you unique!” he lamented. He was genuinely upset that I had shaved it. I regrew it and he was content.

From what I have noticed because some of the hair is growing from left to right and some from right to left it can be more noticeable than arm hair. Not that I mind it unless it’s extremely dark.

My wife has the upper lip hair which she plucks, but no treasure trail. I know this from my many years of intense study of that particular area while I’m down there for other reasons.

I grow a treasure trail, but it’s blond peach fuzz - just like my leg hair, and my lip hair. Only really visible in the right light. I still shave it all.

I come from a fuzzy family but don’t have the necessary androgens to grow ‘terminal’ (dark, coarse, longer) hairs anywhere but my pits and pubes.
