Until Spain scored that equalizer against the USA, I would have thought the USA unbeatable. Clearly they’re not. Still, I think the smart money is on the USA.

I’m not sure whether a total defensive boner like that is more or less of a predictor going forward. On the minus side, they can make total defensive boners, and that’s not a good sign. On the plus side, they still haven’t actually had their defense legitimately broken down and scored on.
