Love mine, too, especially since it took forever and three visits from the Covadman to install it.
I’m getting, on average, 110k/s. I’ve discovered myself getting pissed when I “only” get 75k/s downloads.

My rotten lousy sorry worthless good-for-nothing scum-sucking fifty-dollar per month DSL service from Bellsouth has not worked for the past seven days. Calls to their “service” department are answered with a recording reporting “trouble” but with no anticipated date of repair.
I would kill for a cable modem.
don’t get me wrong I love my dsl from Bel…Verizon but it limits me to no more then 62kb/s dl … while my friends using cable pay $5 less per month and have topped 300kb/s (since I don’t have cable it would be more expensive)and they rarely get slowdowns due to overused networks.
when I start a DL sometimes it starts at apx 130 kb/s but quickly drops. I think the system allows full bandwidth and monitors - if one exceeds it’s limit it slowes it down :(. I wonder if there is a way to trick it into thinking I am allways starting (and allow the higher bandwidth)

I wanted to get DSL, but with the way that Pac Hell botched hooking up up my phone line when I moved, I didn’t feel like waiting 6 months for the installation.
So I went with a cable modem instead. I love it!! I have consistently gotten fast connections, even during peak usage times.
According to the Bandwidth Speed Test, I’m getting download speeds of up to 4533.3 Kbps (555.6 K Bytes/sec).
I have to agree, Napster has turned into a pleasant experience!
