tonight! just made the apt. i needed something to shake off the not-yet-mid-winter blahs and the sexual frusteration. this should snap me out of it. nothing makes you feel more alive than pain.
i’m not new to piercing, but those whom i’ve talked to, say nipples hurt more than other piercings. anyone have an experience to share, or story from friend?
Well, the fiancee wants me to get my nips pierced. I’m just not sure if I want 'em. I’ve had my left ear pierced since high school and got my tongue stud almost 5 years ago. I think I’m satistfied with my number of extra flesh holes…I don’t think I need any more…
From what I’m guessing (and it IS a guess), you’re female. Please accept my apology if I’m wrong. Anyways, I’ve heard it hurts considerably more for females to pierce their nipples than men…but again, I could be wrong…
When i got mine done a while back it wasn’t so bad… although, I didn’t have a coat on… and got it done in January, in Utah (it was about 20 degress outside).
Once i went outside I was sorry I didn’t have a coat on.
However, Nipple piercings can take quite a while to heal.
My ex-gf had hers done. It was a surprise to me, even though I knew she’d been thinking of it. It hurt her like hell, but she seemed to enjoy it (as did I) once the pain went down.
She got tired of it just as the healing process was ending, and had the barbells taken out. Never could make a commitment.
I had mine done. It hurt, but it was nothing big, didn’t hurt nearly as bad as having them ripped out.
and if I may ask is that a reference to big black?
well Chief, i’ve never made an effort to name them, thus the boring names. perhaps new names will develop as i accentuate them. although i might use your suggestion and ask for new names.
**Rasa *, i hadn’t thought about * that pain. also, big black? sorry i’m not that cool.
I got mine done a while ago.It takes sometimes months for them to fully heal. And they really hurt like hell if you have a job like mine and every once in a while almost rip them out.But for initial pain it’s not really all that bad.
My friend who has one done say it is a very high maintenance piercing. He also said his dates seems to either be infatuated with it or scared of it, but never in between.
Whew. Sorry. ‘Racerx’ made me think that you were a guy. And I thought ‘lefty and righty’ were your nuts. I’ve stopped hurting now. You guys can get on with the real topic.
A friend of mine has had both of his pierced. The first one got infected, but the second one was fine. The reason the first got infected, though, was because he didn’t pay attention to the follow up instructions. Just a word of advice. Keep them clean until they’re fully healed.
I call mine “the girls” as in the girls need some new jewelery.
I’ve had mine done for 2/12 years for the left and 2 years for the right. I was a chickenshit and only had one done at first but then I could see that the other needed done to be more symetrical. I could have saved myself a lot of trouble and expense by getting them both done at the same time.
It takes about 10-12 weeks to heal completely. You MUST be fastidious with your cleaning and hygiene. Wash your hands before you touch them and— this is the hard part, don’t let anyone else put their dirty hands or mouths on them until they are healed. Put only stainless steel in them until well healed too. If you are large breasted put barbells in initially cause the ring will want to just sorta stick stright out until the swelling goes away and this can get pretty uncomfortable. Wearing a tight sports-type bra all the time will help too. Also resist the urge to change the barbells and such for at least a month. Too much fiddling around with them only makes it take longer to heal. The tattoo/piercing parlor will give you better instruction for aftercare.
I’m not going to lie, it truly hurts but only for a minute just like any other piercing. You can take a mild pain pill like motrin or a darvocet if you can get one but don’t drink before you go cause alcohol will make it prone to bleeding and believe me the last thing you want to see is blood ooozing from your nipple.
I love my piercings. My nipples are very sensitive and I really can orgasm just from having them stimulated. My hubby thinks they are just great. The only drawback is he wants to brag to everybody and then I’m forced to say,“yes it hurt” and No, you can’t see them."
I also like the fact that under my professional uniform (I’m an RN), I have a delicious secret.
thanks for all the assurance kids! i’m taking off for the day (no comp at home.) but the next time you hear from me i’ll have the additions. i’ve had the navel done twice and i have a cool industrial in my ear so i know all about keeping it clean and not touching em. (and not changing jewlery till its healed. learned that one the hard way.) thanks again. super big grin
From an ex-piercer: It hurts more for the guys to get their nips done. Female nips are meant to be chewed on, whereas guys are not built to be bitten, tugged or whatnot. And the most painful piercing is the septum. I wouldn’t trust anyone to stick me unless they had their septum done at one point (and could prove it with a picture if need be )
Just my two cents, when you get’em done can I have a pic to add to my collection? nudge nudge ;)…
Heya racerx… Just wanted to hop in and clarify something. oldscratch and I share a computer so he occasionally forgets to clear the cookies and posts as me. That earlier post attributed to me is actually from him. My nips are unscathed. But you go girl!
Sorry to disappoint anyone! And no, it wasn’t me that yanked out scratchie’s nipple piercings!
I had mine done last year on a whim…it hurt, a lot. Course, I didn’t go to a professional, my friend did them for me. A week later, I was turning purple, and had to take them out.
On the plus side, I got to show off my boobies more than usual!
