Today I learned that I’m being hired by the local ambulance company as a full time Paramedic.
Its great! For the first time I get to be paid for doing what I have been doing for free as a volunteer for three years. I’m not going to stop volunteering. I love the department I volunteer with and feel a strange commitment to that department.
Its a strange feeling…I’ve set a major life goal and actually met it…its pretty cool.
