Most of the time it’s ok, but when you type “12:00am” it keeps trying to correct it to “12:00are”
Any idea why it’s doing this. “12:00am” on a 12hr clock is valid isn’t it?

It seems to think you are trying to say “12 (somethings) am” and is correcting the “am” to “are.” Try typing 12:00 A.M. and see what happens.
That worked. But I’d prefer lowercase, without full-stops. I’ll leave it your way for now.
(I could just ignore the wiggly line, but things like that bug me until I sort them out. Same with the damn “Fragment, Consider revising” patronizm. On a report, most of the damn thing is ‘fragment’)
Under Tools, Options, Spelling and Grammar, uncheck “Check spelling as you type” box. That should allow you to type 12:00am.
