I had to stare at the last ones for a long time. I knew it would not likely be BEGOT, but I couldn’t think of another word. The silent T made it harder for me.

After the third pick I knew the first and last letter. Maybe there is only one possibility. It took a long time to think of it
I would have thought that this would be hard given three somewhat rarer letters. But I am often surprised by how few alternatives there are after a few guesses, good or bad.

Tough one for me today. EMOTE was dumb since I knew there was no E in the fifth spot; I didn’t even realize I’d doubled up. 
It did, however, give me the placement of both E and O, and - I thought - the win in four. It took me a lot longer than it should have to get from EBONY to EPOXY.
