Wordlebot includes the % of people using particular words as openers. It always uses DEALT. I’ve noticed that the percentage of people using it has been steadily rising since Wordlebot appeared. It’s now about 1/3 of players.

When I finally solved it and checked with WordleBot, turns out DELVE was the only possible remaining solution after my third pick. And it took me forever to figure this out: I wanted there to be a ‘Y’ in the correct word so bad!!

LEADS → If D is 3rd, where can L go? LED?? seems fruitless. DE??L perhaps, but no DECAL. Try DEL?? next, but no DELTA… repeated E?

I feel like I got forced into the answer there rather than making an intuitive guess, but it was still a pretty fun puzzle.

For the Bullitt saga…
I checked the words with my spreadsheet. Just with the three known letters and where they are and where they aren’t, there are two possible words. One of them is eliminated because it contains letters already used. So, there is only possible word left from the list.

Yes, me, too. I have rotating list of six. My only real rule is that I don’t use any words that have been winners—having had the fun, once, of seeing my initial guess Go All Green, I don’t want to deprive myself of the (unlikely but real) chance that it could happen again.
