I had actually thought of PRIMO before CRIMP and nearly tried it, but then I outsmarted myself. “Wordle wouldn’t use such a dumb word as PRIMO!” Oh, yes. Yes, they would.

Meh. I dislike it when I make a logical mistake that makes me take an extra guess I didn’t need.

Still undefeated. Wordle may consider a streak broken if you miss a day or switch phones, but I do not. Standards, don’cha know…

There I was with three sort-of-themed words, and out of some weird borrowed-from-another-language, slangy vault, came the answer. (Took me about 30 minutes of anguish.)

Many fists were shaken in the general direction of NYC today, I expect.

When I’m in a situation like that, I’ve got to go through the combinations on paper. If I’m looking at the words on the screen, my mind will keep on trying to put the letters in the positions where I know they’re not, and come up with words for those wrong positions. Once the possibilities are on paper rather than the Wordle screen, I at least stand a chance.

Phew indeed! After my third word, I saw a bunch of PRI words it could be, along with some others…so I went with the PRI words, which was a good choice, but I just picked the wrong order. Happy to not fail this one!
