That’s not the word I got.

Been getting a lot of fours lately but at least the streak continues.

Was looking grim after 2 when I’d only identified a single letter. I’m happy with this 4.
I went back and apparently Wordle rescinded my 3/6 success. I put in what appears to be the correct word and was awarded a 4/6.

SMITE
No idea what I was thinking playing a word (skite) that isn’t so common before one that is more so (smite), but such as it is.
Says you. I used to say it a lot more.
Almost got this one in three.

I finished Wordle. Through the regular website and other places you can play other days I have played every word; past, present and future (often in “fast mode”). I have the words and how many guesses it took me on a spreadsheet.
I lost three words. Two of them were early. And the last one was a stupid mistake (for the sixth word picked a word that was already eliminated) So, i guess now it would be playing words I have already played.

Tough five for me. Sometimes my vowel-heavy strategy serves me well; sometimes not so much. But I’m glad I found the terminal Y early (heh), which possibly saved me from a fail.

Damn - thought it was my day for a 1 when those first three greenies showed up !
Reminded me of the* Who album: Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy.
Fun anecdote about the title from wiki:
The album is named after the members of the band: “Meaty” is Daltrey, who was quite fit at the time; “Beaty” is Moon, for his drumming; “Big” is Entwistle, who was a large person, often referred to as “The Ox” (lending his nickname to the instrumental of the same name); and “Bouncy” was Townshend, who jumped about quite acrobatically during performances.
*Grammatically speaking, I’m pretty sure I should have written ‘the The Who album’ but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it.

Kinda boring: after 2 guesses, I had just 2 vowels, and that barely narrows things down at all. After the third routine guess, I had enough info that the 4th guess was a gimme.
For tomorrow’s I got an unexpected two.
