This shows the limitations of my habit of not really taking time to strategize. After getting four letters I should have brainstormed all the possibilities and then found a test word; as it was I didn’t deploy a test word until step three.
Oh, well: we play in the way we enjoy and don’t play in ways we enjoy less, I guess.

Had to really work for this one…I thought I was in the wrong trap! After my first word, I was thinking it was SA_ER, and I had 7 words to choose from. So I came up with a word that would check three of the seven words (had to look it up to be sure it was even a word - lol). And that showed me it wasn’t SA_ER!
Now I’m in a different trap. Thankfully I had enough tries left to cover all four of the words it could be, and I just rolled the dice on which one to play each time…go figure it was the last choice, but at least I didn’t fail!
