I screwed up on my third try by repeating the letter ‘A’ in a spot I already knew (should have known) it wasn’t. More coffee before playing!

After CAMEL, I found six _A_EL words, with eight different consonants. Finding a good test word proved difficult, as I found no words containing any four of the eight consonants. Two words started with L and two contained G, so I figured LAUGH was my best bet. After that, a lucky coin flip for the four. This one was fun.
