TRACK → ??TCK doesn’t work, so ?T?CK it is. Must start with an S. So O or I in the middle?

Something I haven’t seen talked about: according to that notice from the NYT puzzle people, on average 91% of everyone solves any given Wordle puzzle in within six tries.
Uh, doesn’t that sort of diminish the sense of accomplishing something, if virtually EVERYONE does it? Would anyone keep playing a type of Solitaire if you won 90% of the time?
Is that a real question? I played freecell for years without losing a game.
To quote myself this morning, “Wordle 456 4/6.”
I’ve lost exactly once, and that was in that debacle the other day. But I would rather win with a 2 or 3 than a 5 or 6.

STICK actually popped into my head at two, but my usual MO is to check for vowels first, so I set it aside. Not mad though, it’s been a minute since I got a three.
(Scoredle says I had 14 possible guesses left, but most were plurals. There were also STIRP, STILB, STIPA, and a few others like that. So really I was just down to STICK, STILL, and STIFF.)

That T pretty much had to be in 2nd position, given that E couldn’t end the word (So no “SPITE” or such). “STILL” and “STIFF” had been eliminated (no L or F). STICK was a Wordle-winner-like word and the obvious one to try in the 4th guess. Nice and fast.
Great cartoon, Smapti. Though I wonder what non-players make of it; they must be puzzled.
