I saw on an interview that the person picking the words may put in a more subtle theme word (rather than FEAST on Thanksgiving. Maybe EXTRA because it’s close to XMAS? Or maybe not.

I really thought they might be doing that with MOUSE (“not a creature was stirring…”) yesterday so it was my third guess on Christmas Eve, since it was one of the few remaining possibilities that I could see after my first two words. But that wasn’t the solution, so so much for that idea.

If today’s solution is themed in some way, it’s too subtle for me. I’m good with that.
