  1. Use popular letters
  2. Move the one letter I have and use more different letters.
  3. Find not used letters with the one I found.
  4. After three, just use some that fit.

The “4” isn’t too bad considering I forgot to use the letter in my first guess that I was told was there but misplaced. I must be playing in 'easy" mode for it to have let me do that, no? So further WARNING: IF YOU GET YOUR STREAK BROKEN, MAKE SURE YOU GO INTO THE SETTINGS AND SELECT 'HARD" MODE IF THAT’S WHAT YOU WANT. (Sorry about ALL-CAPS).

After that second one I had a hard time coming up with words, and getting that yellow letter on #3 really threw me for a bit. I had a hard time coming up with where else that h could go that fit with what I knew for certain

At least six non-unusual words:ABACK, CHAFF, COACH, FOAMY, KHAKI, WHACK., and a bunch of less usual ones hopefully your mind wouldn’t have considered, but you had already tried PLAGE. I had to look that one up. :slight_smile:

ETA: Of those six, the one that turned out to be the answer was definitely the best one to try, though, in terms of ruling out other possibilities.

Of course I should have said “I could only think of one word”, and I suppose as soon as you think of a word that fits all the clues you may as well try it. If I had the time maybe I could make a list of all the possible words and then pick the most well-known from the list (and preferably one without double letters to ensure I ruled out as many letters as possible if it was wrong). However I had to solve the thing in less than 4 mins as I was waiting for a work meeting to start!

Getting RINTS out of the way early helped, there wasn’t much left for my 4th guess. Also, hitting the W early was key.
