Maybe it doesn’t go past 50? Could be your 3rd guess win that got dropped was the oldest game in the streak. I don’t why it would be like that, but it is an explanation for why it would drop one. See what happens tomorrow.

Yeah, I feel a bit hard done by today. After two guesses, the only possible remaining words I could find to fit were ALTAR and ULTRA. Based on prior solutions, the latter did not seem likely.
“fibre” is a non-US-English spelling.
About the 238 answer:
“Ultra” used as an adjective is often a separate word. Like, “He’s ultra conservative.” It was also a British intelligence program during WWII. (Derived from “ultra secret” – two words.)
Weird. I use the powerlanguage site, and it’s working for me. But I leave that tab open in my phone browser, so maybe I haven’t triggered the redirect yet.
The redirect still isn’t working for me, on an Android phone. Tried clearing history and restarting, but it just stays on a white screen. Ideas?

The redirect is working fine for me on a Chrome browser on my (Samsung) Android phone. But I had no game history there, maybe that makes a difference - I normally do it on my laptop.
I solved it by completely clearing the browser history and reloading the page. My history was intact.

Mine was remarkably similar, but I needed an extra guess because I was so fixated on not getting fooled by a U that I literally forgot the letter O existed during my third guess.
