TRANS/LOUIE informed me that there was an N and the second-to-last letter was an I. I therefore reasoned that there must have been a Y used as a vowel and that it would have to be the second letter, and CYNIC was the first word I thought of that met those criteria and didn’t contain any letters I’d ruled out.
Took me ages to work out the final answer:

I could only think of CINCH after the first 2, despite the fact that it had 2 “C”'s, but after that it was easy because no word starts with “CCN”, so the second C had to end the word and therefore the I had to be fourth. I should probably start playing less conservatively because I have only lost twice but my commonest score is 4.
