HEIST → Good one! But I spent too much time trying to place the T here, and too little thinking about alternatives with more vowels. So I tried
TENTH → …which duplicated the E in second, which was dumb, because if I had thought a little more, and tried an R-word instead of an N-word, I might have arrived at
