Caught some luck at the start. First thing I saw after that was NEATO, but figured that was unlikely. Another minute of moving the letters around in my head did it. I also saw OAKEN but the coin fell my way.
ALONE now stands… alone… as my second-best starter, moving from 3.55 to 3.42.

OCEAN → If you told me I was going to get a vowel and a consonant from my first word, that would not have been the pair I would have expected. I first tried CHOSY for the next word, but Wordle said “not a word”, which the makers of Jif would dispute. But it got me into a CHO- with an S mood, so I tried
CHOPS → and after about five seconds I saw it.

WordleBot advised that there were 25 words after my first try and only 1 after my second. Yet it awarded me 87 for skill and 78 for luck, while awarding itself 91 for skill and 59 for luck. I think WordleBot pulls its stats out of its ass.
