Holy cow, I did it again - three 2’s in a row!!
Having (effectively) 3 green consonants right off the bat certainly narrows down the possibilities, but still, there were other possibilities. STING and STINK had been done already, but STUNG, STUNK, STONY, and even STENO (dubious!) were also out there. Fortunately, the most obvious choice was also the correct one. 
Also not-possibles popped up like STENY (the first name of my Congressman) and STONG (the surname of my topology professor, 40 years ago - damn, I’ve been around a long time!).
