I got busy yesterday and forgot to play. CAMEO would have been yesterday’s starter, which I suspect would have led me to HEART at two and HEARD in three.
And that would have made today’s starter POISE, which would have put me in a much better position for a good score here. Sigh.
I’m not entirely sure I understand the question. If the correct word was just added today, that means it was yesterday’s answer. So if you’re guessing for the win – as opposed to just checking letters – don’t guess yesterday’s answer.
The solution is to copy the list of previous solutions onto a spreadsheet, and then update the spreadsheet each day when you find that day’s solution. If there’s a day when you don’t play, you can always update your spreadsheet from this thread.
That way you’ve got control, and you won’t inadvertently see today’s solution before trying to solve today’s Wordle.

Very late. Well after noon Eastern Time. I suspect they don’t update it until the entire world has finished that day’s Wordle.

But that doesn’t sound right to me. That would be 3:00 am Eastern time. I’ll have to check next time I’m up at 3:00 am.
