A couple days ago I lost my streak due to the huge number of “ound” words and I hadn’t reviewed the list of those previously used. I wasn’t going down that path again so I referred to the list this time and was able to rule out 6 previously used “xxate” words. Doing that made this an easy 2 since it was the only other xxate word that popped into my head

Edit to add: Wordlebot says there were still 9 xxate words so I got lucky. I didn’t think of the several that start with “s” and “a”, nor “elate”. When the day comes that “ovate” is the word, I will again lose my win streak.

I’m behind the curve again today.
It looked like a really good start, until I came up with 15 possible words using 13 different letters. Had to do a sleuth word at two, which narrowed my choices down to 4. Figured a sure par was better than a possible six. (And I’d missed ELATE, so I think I made the right choice playing it safe.)
