This is what I get for playing during a bout of insomnia! Had 4 letters (all yellow) after 2, and I really should have been able to solve it in 4. But I didn’t have the energy to search through the possibilities, and just went ahead and tried the first word on 3 that came to mind, and it wasn’t one that narrowed the field down to a single possibility. Such is life.

SLATE → It was a good second guess. Can I get an N and R into this? I’ll take a few shots in the dark
ARTER → Did I type that? I was trying for ARTEN but retyped the R key. Oh my gosh. I mean, it’s good and all, but that was one weird word that tumbled off my fingers. That’s got “Scoredle-BS word” written all over it.
