I tried ASTRO at three, given Wordle’s history of using prefixes as words. It was not a valid guess. Fortunately.
IMAGE → Whiff. Time for a good first word second, which in this case is easy as one of my old reliables has that OU combo
ROUST → TOR?? goes nowhere, so I’m looking elsewhere. When I thought about ?ORT?, I thought of Rick & MORTY, and I thought the Y would be a good play which then brought me to
FORTY
Start off the day - and the month - with a quick birdie. Nice!
I seem to be back in my 3 mode over the past couple of days.

Shoulda been a 2. If I’d seen IMAGE before INANE, it would have been!

How come you didn’t get a green in the last square on your first line ?!
Ah… i see you put all the squares in manually !
Why not just click the “Share” button in wordle and paste it back here ?
Thats odd. I click share and then copy. I hadn’t noticed that.

Just could not see urban at all last night. Then it took me another fair few minutes this morning.
Don’t know what ranes are or why I played it. My standard second guess in that situation is saner, but I forgot it. I think I conflated ranes with rales, but in any case I just typed in ranes on a whim and it worked.

FORTY → OK, well, it’s a start, I can mix together A & E and a couple more comcons to get
SNARE → and that’s cool, three unplaced. I really would like to try both an I and an L here, but I can only get one, so
NADIR → and I’m really feeling low now, gotta move the R again (only two spaces left) and I saw
RANCH → but that didn’t move the A (dumb), and for my fifth guess I finally know where the R should go, and I was casting around for possible letters and didn’t vet this one before I hit enter so another A-placement repeat and
WRANG → was my fifth guess, I finally know where the N goes, and played around with repeating the A a few times before I realized I hadn’t tried the U, which made things pretty easy once I put it at the start of the word
URBAN
Took me even longer than Chefguy to see the answer. Definitely a low-skill score for me today.
I had a really easy time of it today, I’m almost embarrassed to admit. (Almost.)
