STUNG → Good start to the word, then nothing. With T & N gone, I can try two more comcons along with E & A
SERAL → Well, good work on E & A, at least. Pretty much has to be S?EA?, which looks a little trappish - but only some consonants can go after the S there. I’ll try one:
SHEAF → Wasn’t H. L, T, N are gone. Can’t see anything that would finish SWEA? (with R & T gone). SPEA? and I see

Interestingly enough, when you start Scoredle off with STUNG, it ends up placing both E & A by process of elimination, taking five turns to get the solution. It does better when you give it my second guess as well - turns out that was a very lucky guess to make!
Now that is a bad day with your irrigation system.
