MAUVE

VOILA
I love it when I hit uncommon consonants. This is why I keep words like MAUVE in the rotation.
I really liked my second word too, as it placed both the A and the V, plus an I to boot. Et VOILA, there was only one possibility left, foreign as it may be.
I’m laughing at those funny guesses! @BobLibDem too,
Technically, no. It’s a borrowed word. In subtitling, we italicize foreign words, but not ones that are common in English. Capice? Bon voyage! Avenue, boulevard…
But, yes, it’s a dick move by Wordle.

Had to confirm the trap on four, leaving me with BREED, CREED and FREED. Used a sleuth word at five to give me the answer and save the streak.

BREED

VOILA → Whiff. Makes my choice for the next word easy, though - last pair of common vowels and three comcons
TRUES → Not bad. Perhaps time to double up that E? and try the last comcon, so
GREEN → Not many consonants left, so
GREED → Aggggh. Was trusing the B, but my sleepy fingers hit G again.
BREED
I should have waited until tonight to Wordle. Perhaps better luck with clouds today?

Could have been GREED, FREED, or BREED. Sleuth word at four, or randomly take a four, five, or six? Eh, roll the dice. Good roll!
