Bah. I guessed that it was either a _INCH word or FANCY. (I missed seeing RANCH.) First instinct was to put down FINCH to check for the F, but then thought, nah, if it isn’t _INCH then I’ll know it’s FANCY, so I don’t need to check for F.

FINCH → Fourth Wordle in a row with an I. It’s been a minute since I’ve struck out completely with the first guess. The second guess is a choice between a vowel hunt or three comcons - I’ll go for the former
RAISE → Got a vowel, now I’d really like to clean up a couple more comcons… but I’d need to double up to do so. Since it’s early (in the morning, and in the game) I’ll try it, which may be a fool’s errand
ATILT → Struck out on the T’s, but finding and placing the L is great - and the A must go on the end, so ??ILA - I guess it’s

It’s common enough, I suppose, but it’s making loanwords do a lot of heavy lifting. Scoredle solved it just like I did from FINCH, execpt that it tried AXIAL with it’s third guess which gave it just enough info to place the L.
