So I blew my 4th and 5th guesses on a pre-dawn brain fart - I thought to myself, “this is the same as BROKE the other day, I’ve got my notes from that and can just use them.” But that had had a green where I had a yellow today, and blew two guesses due to my obliviousness to that. And by the time I recovered, it was too late, baby. I’m sure I could have solved it if it hadn’t been for that; there just weren’t a lot of possibilities.
Funny thing, though: while lying in bed, I’d been thinking that Wordle hadn’t interested me nearly as much, this past month or two, as it had used to. I was thinking that I had this nice 220-game win streak, and it’s worth keeping on just to see how long I can keep that going, but I’m ready to put the game down whenever it breaks.
And it broke. And maybe that’s just as well. So if you don’t see me for awhile, that’s why.

Annoying trap. I had a long list of words, but I was really feeling Joker and almost went with it at 4, but I really didn’t want to fail, so I tossed up a sleuth word (no idea what it means, but was glad Wordle took it). I still had some words that hadn’t been ruled out yet, but I decided to just go with Joker…wished I took the risk at 4 with it, but easy to say in hindsight.
