TITHE → That’s not a bad start. Try an A, two comcons, and see if I can place that one (and only one) T
LEANT → Barely a proper word, I know, but it got me the letters I wanted. Move the vowels over one and try again
GREAT → So, in essence, ?A?ET. Scanning the remaining consonants, I notice a couple that I should try
CADET → Should have kept looking.

If you had CADET/FACET as your entry in the “most frequent last two Wordle guesses today” pool, you can count your winnings now. Scoredle, seemling taunting me, would have guessed my last two tries one guess before each one (i.e. guesses 3 & 4 rather than 4 & 5) so I guess I’ve earned the bogey.

Whenever I start with just a single yellow a, my thought process is always the same: "My follow-up is races. Wait, why isn’t it cares? C is the second most common starting letter for Wordle answers after S. I forget my original reasoning; I only remember that it is races, not cares. *plays races* Well that went much better than cares would have.
