VAPID → Slow start, one vowel found and no comcons down. On the plus side: Time for a good second word!
ROAST → And…not so good. Maybe I should have gone for LEAST. or LEARN. If I try ?LEAN, what can fill in the blank? Ah,
GLEAN → Oh my, thought I chipped in for birdie there, but it bounced off the rim of the cup.

I think I’d get a pretty hefty luck score on that one - in retrospect, I’m kinda surprised I didn’t try CLEAN third. And Scoredle tries BLEAT with its penultimate guess rather than CLEAT - is there a reason why we both didnt trust the C?

I have a list of 45 start words containing three vowels each. I’ve gotten a little bored of those, and decided to switch things up a little. I started a new list of words with three or four comcons instead.
Day one didn’t go great.

I almost went with Gleam at 2, but I was seeing 4 words that haven’t been used (Alder, Alley, Gleam, and Plead), and Plead would tell me which one it was. Always good with a 3 regardless (2’s are more fun though )
