SLICE → Slow start. What’s more, I can’t see a word of three comcons and two vowels, one of which is E. So I’ll try the E smack dab in the middle and fill in com- and less-than-com-cons around it
TREND → Good job with the N! And it eliminated another possible place for the E. I still feel vowel-light here, so I’ll try two of them with the next guess

When I finished, I thought “Maybe IVORY tomorrow?” But thanks to RTFirefly I know my best case is probably MOODY. I considered what Scoredle picked for my third guess, but I think my third guess made my final guess easier in the end. Fun par.
