Just had to mention that IVORY was the solution to Wordle #59. So now EBONY and IVORY live together in perfect harmony on the list of past Wordle solutions.

The bot says “No one in our sample of 1,776,369 completed Wordles faced this scenario!” I guess that’s. . .something.
SLICE → Slow start. What’s more, I can’t see a word of three comcons and two vowels, one of which is E. So I’ll try the E smack dab in the middle and fill in com- and less-than-com-cons around it
TREND → Good job with the N! And it eliminated another possible place for the E. I still feel vowel-light here, so I’ll try two of them with the next guess
MEANY → Good luck on the Y (though I should have doped out that it had to be that)! E placed by process of elimination. E??NY, time to trust the B
EBONY
When I finished, I thought “Maybe IVORY tomorrow?” But thanks to RTFirefly I know my best case is probably MOODY. I considered what Scoredle picked for my third guess, but I think my third guess made my final guess easier in the end. Fun par.

As is often the case, the second word was make-or-break. I chose well.
Took the longer road on solving this one, for sure.

I saw Ebony first, and then Peony…and since I just planted a peony plant today that I’m really excited about (never had one before), I just had to go with that one first. Ah well…a 4 it is for today.
@chiliwillybing Great minds…looks like we both liked peony.
