Almost missed this one. Bit of a trap after guess three. After guess four I went through all of the options and concluded that VALVE was the only possible answer. I did look at xALUE but missed VALUE, probably because I was looking for the stress on the second syllable. At least I finally got it though.

LEAST → I kept thinking ALERT here but since I’d already tried the T, didn’t go with it… so I tried really a non-word and it came through
ALURE → Two Ls, man, two Ls! But, I was lucky to pick up the U, because after that there was only one word left
