NANNY → Good move, though it leaves me in a bit of a trap. But there’s not many letters left to make good words… I looked at this for a bit, came back to it, and decided there had to be a G and probably a repeat A, then it came together

After my fourth guess, I have no grounds to object to the loanword status of the answer. Scordle makes some very nice plays to finish in four today; my third guess may have cost me more than I thought, but it was so fun when it jumped out at me I just had to try it.
You get the G unplaced with your fourth guess, and then don’t use it in your guess on five.
Beyond that, I want to say that
