RECUR → About what I expected, though I was hoping for one R. Time for an A and three WoFcons
STEAL → Nada. Maybe I should have tried EPEES? Ah, well. O and N, and whatever else comes to mind…
ENDOW → Not bad, but a whole lot of yellow. U or Y still out there, I see one word with a Y where I also must trust the B
BONEY → The B let me down, but the rest is perfect. M or H? I’ll try M
MONEY → I hope my enumeration of possible words was comprehensive
HONEY
For some reason, that was the least-Phew-ey-feeling six I think I’ve ever done at this game. I just never quite got the feeling of dread that often hits when I’m nearing the endgame - probably because my fourth guess was so fruitful. Scoredle takes a five on it, which also makes me feel a little better.

This was a fun one. After my starting word, with the third and fifth letters set, I figured the fourth letter was a C,F,I,P,R, or U. So then I went through and thought of words that could end with each of those 3-letter combos. I came up with 13 of them, and checking with Scoredle afterwards, I only missed two, which made me feel good, and both of which had been previous solutions so no harm, no foul.
The used words list was the real story here: of those 13 possible solutions I came up with, nine had already been used, leaving me DRAFT, GRAFT, ABAFT (I didn’t really think this sailing term would be a solution, but listed it for completeness’ sake), and BEAUT, which I didn’t really think would be the solution, but based on past experience, would be exactly the sort of slang word that Wardle would have on his list (and piss Ellis off for sure).
I really thought DRAFT would be the solution, so I had high hopes for a 2, but its fail eliminated all the other possibilities but BEAUT, and sure enough, that was it.

BEAUT - I thought of this earlier, but dismissed it as a slang word. Fuckers.
Really, Wordle? Seriously?
HONEY → Lot of possibles if you add an A and throw in three of the remaining WoFcons. Think I’ll go with
LEAST → which was about the best choice I could have made. If I try the R… well, HEART is out, but with the R in front it could be
REACT → Strikeout. Not many consonants could go between the A & T here… but wait, there’s one vowel it could be
BEAUT
A little slangy. Scoredle doubles up to try to find the first letter, and finishes in four also. My second guess was a lucky one.
