This one went very slowly and methodically to conclusion. Almost an ideal wordle.
No sweat. Like I said, doesn’t really make a difference to me, the way I pick a start word - and I had already finished today’s puzzle, anyway. If no one else objects, not really a problem.
To use the blur function, as I pointed out in another thread, select the Gear Icon in the upper right corner of the Reply window. There are three functions to choose from → Hide Details, Blur Spoiler. and Build Poll.

If I’d used my regular second word, I’d have had a 3. I’m getting more willing to modify my second word based on what the first word turned up, but more often than not the normal second word seems to be working better, so maybe I need to dial it back a bit.

Not well played. I found the trap on three. I didn’t really think through the sleuth word because there were too many options. After four, I saw NICER, DINER, FINER, NINER?, PINER?. Went for another sleuth word to eliminate the most likely suspects and save the six.
Several 3s in a row. I had a choice of at least a dozen words for my third guess.
