Horrible trap today. Had to try to eliminate as many choices as possible. The sleuth word helped but it still could have been BORER. Also I was thinking that BOXER had been used before. Just happy to survive today.

VYING → I’ve started with a whiff three of the last four days. Quite a little streak I’ve got going! Yet another chance for a good first word second.
LEAST → Unplaced E after two guesses. I wanted to KO the vowels here, but in retrospect I should have gone ROGUE
COUPE → Not that this is too bad. I played around with five letter words that included an R and found a slangy one that Wordle took
FOREX → And that X made the solution easy

I guess it’s a good day to hear what you want to hear and disregard the rest. Looking at the trap and Scoredle’s list of possibles on my fourth guess, I got very lucky with the guess I made. Scoredle makes a six from my start; ironically it does better than with its own start, which ends in a fail.
