SAVVY
Quite the tricky word, and my random starter did me no favors today. Fortunately, my third word eliminated SASSY, so I wasn’t in danger of a fail (SAGGY and the less-likely SAVOY were remaining). Getting out of this one with a bogey feels like a win, actually.

Got frustrated about guess three and started putting in anything that worked. Did not think to check more vowels.

Apparently the solution was the only remaining possibility after 2, but all I had at that point was vowels, and it’s hard for me to see a word without consonants to give it form. It wasn’t particularly easy to see after 3, for that matter.

SAVVY → That’s about the best I could expect, so… I’ll check E & O and two WoFcons
ALONE → All vowels. Had to think about this for a while. In retrospect, surprised I did not see OPERA before I tried
OREAD → And the mountain nymph led me directly to the one word that was left
OMEGA
Solving without consonants is hard on my brain. Scoredle gets par through a different route, but also with a unique tap-in at the end.

Nice to get that M off the bat, and shuffling those three blues was actually fairly helpful.
I saw CHEMO right away, but resisted. (NYT would use it for a crossword, I’m sure, but too many negative connotations for the daily Wordle, methinks.)
OMEGA turned out to be the only other legit word left, but it took me forever to see it. Almost gave up and put in CHEMO a couple of times, but I stuck it out, and finally…
