BLATE? I mean, what the heck, Scoredle? Is that even a word? Scoredle’s algorithm takes a wrong turn at its second guess, then hits the solution on a 1-in-8 shot. Nice chip in for birdie, Scoredle.

There are only about a dozen legit words after 1, and most of them have already been used. Could’ve also been PRAWN, GRAIN, KNACK, or (a stretch IMO) UNARM, so this 2 was still lucky, but not nearly as lucky as it looked.

It will be interesting to see if anyone else joins Chefguy and me with the ironic juxtaposition. Oh, and Scoredle as well; though it gets the solution on a bogey, rather than my par and Chefguy’s birdie. Interestingly in a trivial sense, both Scoredle and I had all greens on our answer board.
